The Surveillance Group: moving surveillance to the next level

Based in Hereford, the Surveillance Group employ 38 teams in cutting edge surveillance work across the UK, with seven more teams strategically placed in Europe and Canada.

We uniquely combine the practices, skills and experience of special forces, police and commercial surveillance to create an entirely new form of surveillance. Wherever possible, we avoid traditional, vehicle-based surveillance, which has become all too familiar to insurance fraudsters and the criminal fraternity.

Our clients & Industry

Our dynamic approach and reputation as innovators in this specialist field has led us to build close working relationships with some of Europe’s largest financial institutions and UK law enforcement and other government bodies.

As one of the UK’s largest providers of personal injury surveillance, we are also on the panels of many of the country’s leading insurers.

We are the acknowledged experts in providing professional witness surveillance to the police and local authorities in relation to drugs, prostitution, gang violence, hate crime and antisocial behaviour. We are retained by an overwhelming majority of the country’s local authorities and housing associations to provide professional witness surveillance, training and technical advice.

Training & Building Skills

As part of our continuing commitment to the insurance sector, we have developed a customised Training Level 3 BTEC (subject to approval) in Mechanism of Injury, designed for any individual involved in managing personal injury claims.

We have also created a Level 3 BTEC in Advanced Surveillance, in association with Education Excel, which teaches our unique style of surveillance. The course includes violent assault medical training, geared to the types of medical emergency individuals conducting surveillance may face.

We also offer bespoke courses, including CROPS training for the police, method of entry and the use of outside observation points in urban environments.

We have also developed a series of innovative bespoke medical training courses that are designed to assist our clients in preventing injury and treating casualties who may be 45 minutes away from the nearest provider of medical care.
