'Faker' crash victim could face prison

A CRASH victim accused of faking his symptoms to boost his compensation claim faces the threat of a possible jail term after insurers won a groundbreaking ruling allowing them to pursue him for alleged contempt of court.

Mr Loveday sought "six figure" damages for his injuries, but when the case was finally settled at Swansea County Court in January 2009, he left court with just £1,850 in damages and also had to pay the other sides' costs. </>
