The Surveillance Group is the only dedicated surveillance company to offer a range of customised surveillance BTEC qualifications at Level 4. Level 4 qualifications are ideal for students wishing to develop not just basic tactical acumen but also advanced technical skills and broader management knowledge. As such they are ideal for everyone from the complete novice to experienced military or police personnel, as well as government practitioners looking to transfer their skills into the private / commercial sector.
Our portfolio of courses comprises five Level 4 BTEC Awards, each accredited by Edexcel:
Award 1 - Level 4 BTEC Professional Award in Tactical Surveillance Procedures - Designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required in planning and managing tactical surveillance procedures.
Award 2 - Level 4 BTEC Professional Award in Tactical Foot and Mobile Surveillance - Provides the training required to for students to effectively plan and manage tactical foot and mobile surveillance.
Award 3 - Level 4 BTEC Professional Award in Covert Observation Posts Management - Addresses the understanding and skills necessary for comprehensive planning, construction and management of rural and urban covert observation posts.
Award 4 - Level 4 BTEC Professional Award in Covert Camera Construction and Concealment - Develops the understanding and skills required to plan and supervise covert camera construction and concealment.
Award 5 - Level 4 BTEC Professional Award in Tactical Surveillance Reconnaissance - Teaches the outstanding organisational skills required to plan and manage tactical surveillance reconnaissance in both rural and urban environments.
Level 3 BTEC Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) - For forces personnel looking to transfer their military instructor qualifications into civilian teaching qualifications, The Surveillance Group also run the Edexcel approved Level 3 BTEC Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
