The Level 4 Advanced Award in Covert Surveillance Operations is our recommended standard we expect for surveillance operatives to proficiently work within the industry and is generally the level we look at to be considered for employment. Having completed both Basic and Intermediate Covert Surveillance Courses, students will this week finesse their new skills as operatives and develop their knowledge vital to being effective in the field. 

• Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), students will learn how to conduct Desktop Investigations using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) a vital tool for gathering intelligence on your Subject. This unit is delivered with expert knowledge from our OSINT expert .
• Counter-Surveillance, students will be taught and exercised  in their newly acquired knowledge in Covert Surveillance techniques to Detect/Deter malicious surveillance being carried out on their Principal (individual you are protecting). This unit is especially useful for those interested in the Close Protection Industry. 
• Technical Surveillance, students will further develop the ‘Tools of the trade’ used by covert surveillance operatives. The Surveillance Group Ltd is renowned for our ability to acquire professional, clear video footage of Subjects and our experienced instructors are here to  pass on this knowledge. This area is really vital and often overlooked by many others that haven’t got the same credibility within the industry. You will understand the use and capabilities of Tracking Devices that are used to monitor a subject’s movements and consider the legal and moral complexities associated with them.
